Summary
Advancing Renewal Ministries (ARM) is a tax deductible non-profit corporation incorporated in 1983 to help Christian churches reach the "unreached people groups" of the world with the gospel. Two billion men, women and children have no indigenous church, no pastor and no Bible.
The goal of ARM's global outreach is to establish self-supporting, indigenous congregations who will evangelize their own people group and, in time, send their own missionaries to other people groups.
ARM's strategy to accomplish this is:
- To teach national Christian pastors, evangelists and leaders in Pastor's Conferences and Leadership Training Schools in the field.
- To train Seminary and Bible school students, evangelists, village workers and Bible women by sending guest professors to their schools and providing necessary materials.
- To equip national Christians by providing short term financial support, Bibles and literature, bicycles, Jesus films and projectors, and such other "special projects" as they agree upon and are able.
- To provide micro business loans to widows so they can provide for themselves and their children.
ARM's second goal is to bring spiritual renewal to American congregations. The organization relies on the Holy Spirit to help call them into cross-cultural missions at home and abroad. ARM gives missions awareness seminars, sermons, speak in Bible classes and at missions conferences.
ARM also publishes a free, monthly newsletter and sends out email updates. If you would like to receive one please contact their office.
ARM has ministered in over 25 countries and networks with other Christian organizations to conduct leadership conferences, support Bible schools, and equip evangelists with Bible films, Bibles and Bicycles. ARM operates the "Hope for the Future Widows Loan Fund" to help widows become self-supporting. ARM is involved in many kinds of evangelism, including child evangelism, and supports orphanages on a "special project" basis, as they are able.
Dr. Art and Nancy Vincent, Founder and Co-Directors of ARM, are evangelical Lutheran in background but minister non denominationally. They are open to the gifts of the Holy Spirit as He desires to bestow them. In every country and continent, they experience God confirming His word with signs, wonders and miracles today.
ARM is supported by the prayers and generous gifts of individuals, Bible study and prayer groups and Christian congregations who know their work and want to help.

This organization has not offered MinistryWatch.com with an official statement or response for their profile. This area is meant as a mechanism for the profiled ministry to communicate anything they may choose. It is open ended as to the topic, issues, facts or news to address. It is not negative if there is no official statement as many don’t have anything to add than what is already on the profile. This section is not tied to transparency or to communication in general. Many very open and talkative ministries with us choose not to post an official statement. This section is just an open ended offering to the profiled ministry for anything extra to say as they may choose.
